Main Scripture: John 7:37-44

POINTS:
God met the Israelites’ deepest needs, and He still does.
We try to feast on things that will never satisfy us.
Our feast is of “If I’s, if only’s, and if they’s”.
If we take the Holy Spirit into us, a drink goes in, and a river comes out.
Mountains move out of the way for rivers.
The outward expression of the River of His Spirit will be courage.
Four difficult-to-learn types of courage the Holy Spirit qualifies us for: contemplation, contentment, confidence, and community.
Contemplation means deep, reflective thought.
River currents are dictated by what’s happening below the surface.
We want revival without repentance, we want repentance without conviction, and we want conviction without contemplation.
Who are you running to for a drink?
Take Facebook and make it Faithbook.
Don’t walk away chasing something that God already has on the way to you.
God will give us the courage to be confident in who He says we are.
Discouragement: a lack of confidence and enthusiasm.
God has designed us for impact.
It is the assurance of God’s love that gives us the courage to be confident in who He says we are.
The River of the Holy Spirit gives us the courage to thrive in His Kingdom community.
The river inside you is also for someone else.
