POINTS:
We all have two seeds: the corrupted seed of sin and the uncorrupted seed of God’s Spirit.
The world and the devil nourish the corrupted seed, while the church and the Spirit of God nourishes the uncorrupted seed.
Compassion fatigue is growing indifferent towards charitable requests for those in need because of being overwhelmed.
“When faced with compassion fatigue, we may feel tempted to sink into Desolation, treating it as home.” - John Eldridge
The temptation to make our home in desolation is in the aftermath of the trials we experience.
The enemy wants us to tap out, give up, and let desolation grow in our lives.
We must learn to grow through what we go through.
Eden glory is the Holy Temple of God where all His goodness dwells.
Eden is within us with all its vibrancy, abundance, and fruitfulness, because God is in us.
A Biblical trial is an adverse circumstance that God causes or permits to grow Eden from desolation.
Our trials call our faith to the witness stand and show us what we really believe.
God uses the winds of adversity to change our normal patterns of responses to trials.
If you don’t know why you can have joy, you won’t count it as joy.
When we praise God in our trials, we call down a heavenly vision.
