POINTS:
Everyone dies; mortality is a universal experience.
The inevitability of death connects all people.
Sin leads to death; death is a part of the curse resulting from human choices.
Despite the reality of death, there is hope through faith in Jesus.
Jesus’ assurance of life after death provides comfort and hope.
Christians believe in a renewed life and body after death, joining God in eternity.
Death is a temporary reality and not the final end; it is a passage to something greater.
We are empowered to live without fear of death due to Christ’s victory.
Souls leave earthly existence to await reunification with resurrected bodies.
While we cannot fully comprehend what lies beyond death, we can trust God’s promises.
Our faith should motivate our actions in life, similar to Rev. John Harper’s example of true belief.
We must all consider our readiness for death and what lies beyond.
