POINTS:
Command number one: be strong and courageous.
Command number two: keep His word.
The biggest difference between the first generation and the second was faith.
Egypt = what we used to know.
The new land will include the blessings of God, battles, and new skills.
God’s promises:
A place where we can live. Jesus is our Promised Land.
A place where He will bring forth a great harvest in our lives.
We will lack nothing.
Victory over our enemy.
“Our Promised Lands are characterized by the presence of victory, not the absence of opposition.” -Beth Moore
It’s for our good that we have battles.
A shield of faith was only used when troops were advancing to take new territory.
The primary way satan assaults our faith is by attacking God’s character through our character.
When we drop our shield of faith, every part of us becomes vulnerable to satan’s lies.
To consecrate = to set apart for a divine purpose.
Sanctification happens through the word of God, prayer, and fasting.
Fasting is not just about abstaining; it’s about reclaiming.
