POINTS:
Weariness = a deep spiritual, mental, and emotional fatigue caused by life’s struggles, sin, or waiting on God.
Weariness is something we grow.
Weariness runs on willpower, and willpower is not a renewable resource.
The Holy Spirit is a renewable resource.
The first way you can tell that fruit is on its way is when God disappoints you, just when you thought He was coming through for you.
The passive discipline that disappointment is bringing you is growing humility in you.
You will need the strength of humility to hold the fruit.
God wants you to know that it isn’t you who produces fruit.
We can also tell that the fruit is on the way when God skips over us.
God is preparing your next place of growth.
God is the Gardener, not man; He will not allow your roots to go down in human wisdom, but His alone.
God’s fruit will never grow from human wisdom.
The third way we can tell that fruit is on the way is when God surprises us.
NOT ME, ONLY GOD!
The fourth way we can tell fruit is on the way is it comes suddenly. Our God is the God of suddenly.
The Kingdom of God moves at the speed of seed.
