POINTS:

• Wherever the Holy Spirit leads us to go, He will always lead us to grow.

• The Holy Spirit grows us in character and charism.

• Charisms: gifts of special Devine empowerment, bestowed on each believer by the Holy Spirit to accomplish His mission.

• Spiritual gifts are integral parts of building up the body of Christ and are not something that should divide us.

• Spiritual gifts are a part of the body functioning in a healthy way to glorify Christ. They are not a job description.

• The power of the spiritual gifts and how they are used are often organic.

• These are gifts, but they do not define your value.

• Gifts are meant to be handled with humility and not self-righteousness.

• Power gifts: faith, healing, and miracles.

• Power gifts demonstrate God’s power over disease, demons, death, and every destructive force.

• The gift of faith: the capacity to build up the church through an ability to see beyond the unrealized purposes of God, while trusting.

• The gift of healing: exercising faith that results in restoring people to physical, emotional, or spiritual health.

• The gift of working of miracles: when God uses us to effect a miracle by His divine power.
